Christopher Soong

Chris has held previous Executive level positions at Sprint Nextel where he was the Director of Enterprise Applications Development. While at Sprint, Chris was responsible for the IT delivery solutions supporting Sprint’s $8 Billion 4G WiMAX initiative. Additionally, Chris was responsible for defining and delivering Sprint’s strategy for Enterprise Applications including Enterprise Applications Integration and the Enterprise Data Warehouse / Business Intelligence. Prior to Sprint, Chris held various positions within IT organizations, including serving on the integration team responsible for merging Sprint and Nextel, two Fortune 200 companies. He has held previous management positions at NeuStar Inc, Step 9 Software Corporation, and American Management Systems (now CGI). Chris is a recipient of the 2011 CIO Magazine’s ‘Ones to Watch’ award and the 2007 Outstanding 50 Asian Americans in Business Award. In 2012, Chris received Computerworld magazine's Editor's Choice award for Best Business Intelligence project.

In his free time, Chris serves on the board of directors of his children’s swim team, volunteers with Lungevity, the National Capital Area chapter of the March of Dimes (where he sat on the revenue committee), and the Food Allergy & Anaphylaxis Network (FAAN).

During Young's professional career, he has managed every major aspect of a project management/software development life-cycle, including concept exploration, requirements elicitation, approach definition, architecture development, process design, system design, system development, test and evaluation, and system implementation. He is intimately familiar with JCIDs, DoD 5000 and the Acquisition process.
